Aquila Pizza Al Forno
Aquila Pizza al Forno offers Neapolitan style pizza cooked to order in a wood-fired stove that was made by a Neapolitan master oven builder. Chef Arcieri attended the Institute of Culinary Education and is now creating high quality and delicious Neapolitan pizza in his BYOB eatery. Chef Arcieri uses his specially formulated dough recipe to create the six varieties of pizza featured on the menu, including Margherita. In addition, Arcieri offers one or two special pizzas each week, usually a vegetarian and meat variety. All of the pies are prepared with house made mozzarella, extra virgin olive oil and sea salt. Arcieri named the establishment Aquila after learning that the building it is housed in was once the home of the Eagle Hotel—eagle in Italian translates to Aquila.

I have been going to Aquila for quite sometime and not for just pizza. The appetizers are amazing and there is always something new that Jerry Aldo is "trying". Always ask to see what is the special otherwise you can default to the regular menu pizzas. The Tre Carni is my favorite.
